Guerrero Mask of Priest #2009.01.018

A mask from Teloloapan Guerrero, Mexico. It represents a priest and is used in the Dance of the Moors. It is a man with a pink face, blue eyes, black moustache and a long black goatee. I am uncertain if it has been used as it shows a little wear on the face but none on the back. The mask was found in Tixtla Guerrero in 2009. Size H 10 ”, W 5 1/2”, D 5 ”. Weight 1 lb.
