Mexican Guerrero Tigre Mask #2009.01.32 Sold

A vintage "el tigre" or jaguar mask with a canvas neck cover from Zitlala, Guerrero Mexico. The mask is carved from zompantle wood. It shows some wear from use but in general is in good condition. The mask has no eye holes so the dancer looks through the extra large mouth opening. It was collected in 2009 in Taxco, Mexico. Size H 9 1/2”, W 8 1/2”, D 5 1/2”. Weight 2 lbs. SOLD
