Guatemalan dog mask | #2003.01.074

A hand carved wooden mask of a dog used in a number of traditional dances in Guatemala. Collected in 1998 in Totonicapan Guatemala. Circa mid 20th century. Very good condition with good patina on the interior of the mask from long time use. This mask has obviously been repainted numerous times.
