Guerrero dance mask Man with eye patch | 2009.01.012 Sold

This mask is used in the Danza de la Tlacololero. The mask is made from wood and painted with enamel. It has a pink face, black eyebrows and moustache a bright red mouth. One eye is blue while the other is painted out with what looks like a patch. It was purchased from the carver Carmelo Calvario Mendoza from Ayuhualolco, Guerrero in 2009. It is unused and in excellent condition. Size H 8 1/2 ”, W 7 1/2”, D 5 ”. SOLD
